On Monday, October 16, CWA State Workers voted yes to ratify a new union contract with the State of New Jersey by an overwhelming 94%. The new 4-year union contract spans from July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2027, representing 35,000 workers in the Executive Branch.

The bargaining committee, Shop Stewards, Local and District leaders, and our membership fought hard for a fair contract that recognized members’ hard work keeping New Jersey strong. This is a historic contract with significant gains that delivered on CWA’s goals and sets a foundation for continued work.
